Today I dropped a new Eagle design, with spread wings, and carrying a Salmon, into the Eagle section. Another one of those designs that I have had on file to complete for some time. Again, it is treated with highlights and gradients to simulate depth in many of the details.
The Eagle is drawn with heavy emphasis on features that you would normally see in old totem poles featuring an Eagle with wings spread out. It is also tilted to appear to be flying, or at least moving forward, rather than straight up as in a totem pole. The original intent was to put it on top of a pole, but I have not figured out how to do that and still have the Salmon at the bottom. Maybe some time in the future I will figure that out.
